Shinrensha Temple

On this tour you can visit the garden at Shinrensha Temple, which is normally not open to the general public. Enjoy the garden designated as a scenic spot of Kanazawa City while listening to the interpreter guide’s explanation of the temple and garden.

THE OLD SITE OF Mr. KURANDO TERASHIMA’S HOUSE

This is the former residence of Kurando Terashima, a samurai who served the Kaga domain. There are enkianthus perulatus trees in the garden that are over 300 years old, which bring out the particular beauty of the garden when autumn foliage is in season.

Renchi Gate is the main entrance to Kenrokuen Garden, which measures nearly 110,000 square meters. Enjoy all the different scenery the seasons have to offer, from cherry blossoms in spring, to colorful foliage in autumn, and roped trees to protect from heavy snows in the winter.
